Layer 8 is excited to welcome Brian Mazza as its Creative Director, ushering in a bold new chapter for the brand. Brian brings over 15 years of experience in fitness, hospitality and fashion to Layer 8. As a co-creator behind some of New York City’s most influential brands, he’s honed a unique blend of creative vision and business savvy. His deep understanding of both the artistic and operational sides of the industry makes him an invaluable asset as we evolve our performance apparel.

As one of his first initiatives, Mazza will step into the designer role to launch the HPLT Capsule Collection—a premium performance line that reflects his unique personal style, merging his passion for fitness and fashion. Mazza’s expertise in creating tailored aesthetics adds a sharp, sophisticated edge to this collection.

From a young age, Brian’s competitive spirit set him apart, earning him a Division 1 soccer scholarship and shaping a lifelong passion for high-performance training. His athletic journey isn’t just about personal achievement—it’s the driving force behind his dedication to building meaningful fitness experiences and innovative products that truly support active lifestyles.

HISTORY WITH LAYER 8
Mazza and Layer 8 have a history of collaborations, and of coming together to raise awareness for a cause close to home. One of those causes was diabetes, a condition that affected his family through his father.

In 2019, Brian leveraged his substantial influence to launch High Performance Lifestyle Training (HPLT), a series of immersive events that blend movement with mindful wellness.
